Lesson Information
Welcome to Music Lessons with Hannah. I'm excited that you have decided to study music. I teach private singing (up to advanced/professional) and piano (beginner/intermediate) lessons and provide theory instruction. With a Masters in Music in Voice Performance as well as over 30 years of teaching and performance experience, I'm excited to share my love for music with the next generation. I work with each student to develop their gifts and potential. I challenge students to grow and take risks as they pursue their musical path.
Students are offered performing opportunities throughout the year. We have two seasonal studio recitals and I encourage participation in local Music Festivals. Preparation for RCM exams and auditions is available.
This webpage was created as a central space for my students to come and see important dates and fees information for the year. Please read through carefully as there are some changes this year that I'm hoping will make things simpler for us all. Please bookmark this page for future reference.
Tuition & Fees
Fees are due on the first of each month in advance. Payment may be made by e-transfer, cheque, or with exact cash (change is not available).
Lesson fees for weekly lessons as of September 1st, 2026 are:
$64 for 60 min lesson
$48 for 45 min lesson
$32 for 30 min lesson
Lesson fees for the year will be divided equally each month and due on the first of each month.
For example, if your student is taking 45 min lessons on Wednesdays, there will be 37 lessons in the year.
[37 lessons x $48] ÷ 10 months = $177.60 monthly lesson fee. You may also choose to pay as a lump sum at the beginning of each term in advance.
Please note: Adult Students/audition prep - Occasional lessons are available at a slightly higher rate. Please inquire for rates and availability.
Studio Schedule 2026/27
Lesson times are available Monday, Wednesday & Thursday afternoons and evenings.
Number of lessons per year depends on holidays:
Mondays - 33
Wednesdays - 37
Thursdays - 37

Monday, October 12 - Thanksgiving
Saturday, December 19 - Sunday January 3 - Winter Break
Monday, February 15 - Family Day
Sunday, March 14 - Saturday March 20 - March Break
Monday, March 29 - Easter Monday
Monday, May 24 - Victoria Day
Wednesday, June 16 - last day of lessons before summer
